Our Story

Picture of Our Story

Our families have been intertwined before we were even a thought and some how many years later of no contact between our families we found our way to each other. It all started in high school. We always knew of each other but never knew each other, until i was asked to get him a job at Pizza Time by his ex-girlfriend (my friend at the time). A few month after I got him the job he broke up with his ex-girlfriend and this is where the love portion of our story started to grow. After a month or two after the break up is when Frankie started to make his presence known to me and started to talk to me in and out of work. He started with just a simple "hi" and "goodbye" at work, then started to try and start a 'streak' on snapchat, and eventually lead to him flirting on snapchat and trying to start conversation about simple day to day stuff. In the beginning I was a little hesitant considering he dated someone I considered a friend although our friendship consisted only in class. After talking to many of my real friends and even my family they convinced me to flirt back. This flirting took place between May and June of 2020, and then the Fourth of July came around and Frankie had a small party of him and his friends at his house and they drank and partied a little too hard causing him to be drunk and sick. The alcohol in his own words at the time "gave him the balls to ask me out." At the time I was all giddy and excited and said yes but now looking back at it I realize how crazy I was for saying yes in that moment and not waiting until he sobered up a little but if I didn't our lives would have been a lot different right now. The next morning I woke up all excited and he woke up extremely hungover and asked me to get his shift covered at work and acted like nothing happened. For the next week or two he acted like nothing happened because no plan was ever made and I started to question everything until my friends convinced me bring it up again. Once I did we made a plan for July 21st, even though everything was still closed down from covid, and wound up ordering take out and going to the everglades on Loxahatchee rd to eat and just talk. From that day on we were practically inseparable.
